Elizabeth is great at giving trigger warnings, I highly recommend reading those before reading this book. This story is surprisingly violent, but it is a dark romance.  

The Bone King and the Starling gives you multiple villains to want to suffer. Tori especially could have a series where he is the main villain. That guy sucks.
King Calai gives big touch her and die energy in truly the most aggressive way possible but you’re rooting for him and Starling because behind closed doors he worships her.

This is a standalone, so I recommend between series when you’re unsure what to read next.
